These are a few images from a recent restaurant shoot.
It was a nice change from weddings and portraits.
The time allowed for this job was limited, so I didn’t bring an arsenal of “supplies” with me. In an ideal situation, at least 30-40 minutes on each set-up would have been my preference.
This is where food stylists make their money; props for the set-up, flowers, silverware, colorful cloth napkins, touching up the food to look fresh under the lights.
In this case, I shot 25 plates of food under 2 hours.
I was happy with the results, so was the client.
Yes, I did sample the dishes and the food is very good!
